Grow Out to Eat: Edible Gardening
for Beginners – From the White House to your house, growing
your own food has become the hottest trend in gardening. Join
gardening expert Kate Terrell and learn about growing delicious and
healthy food. This session will focus on berry crops, apples, pears,
potatoes and onions as well as some other favorite veggies. Most
Veggies and herbs will be covered in the Burpee Vegetable lecture on

10:30 AM Container Workshop- A fun, hands-on workshop for anyone from the planting novice to lifelong gardeners. Bring in your own container or select a stylish new one from our wide selection. Wallaces’ greenhouse experts will help you choose great plants for your container and be on-hand to answer any questions as you plant your own creative combination container. $10 fee includes Wallaces Container Mix and a jar of Wallaces Bloom and Grow Water Soluble Fertilizer. Participants are responsible for cost of plant material. (In order to accommodate everyone, we ask that you attend only one session.
